Youth Forum Beckons You....

Swami Vivekananda Youth Forum a unit of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysore began its activities on February 2007 with the aim of bringing together the Youth of Mysore who are inspired by Swami Vivekananda and to introduce the today's Youth to India's rich spiritual heritage and also to make them responsible citizens.

Service Activities:
* Teaching at Ashadayaka Seva Trust:
The members of SVYF visit Ashadayaka Seva Trust on every Sunday and teach Bhajans, Meditation and academic subjects. Cash collected from the Youth Forum Members is also being used to contribute Note Books, Writing Materials and also Grocery Items.

* Teaching at Chinde Gowdana Koppalu:
The members visit Chinde Gowdana Koppal, a village in Mandya District on Saturdays and are helping the rural students in their academics.

* Book Sales:
Youth Forum Members were also involved in a Month Long Book Sale program (in January) in various areas of Mysore and also in some Educational Institutions. We are planning to do it all through out the year in the coming days.
